Cyber Monday May Lift Beauty Sales

Online Black Friday results are good, but brick & mortar traffic disappoints, say analysts.

Covid concerns had shoppers avoiding physical stores on Black Friday. According to Sensormatic Solutions, a global retail solutions provider, store visits fell 28.3% compared to 2019. Compared to pandemic-plagued 2020, visits increase 47.5% on Black Friday. Leading retailers such as Sephora, Ulta and Dermstore, all rolled out big discounts on beauty items.
